NZJane is a New Zealand-based travel startup that helps travelers explore the best destinations in southern hemisphere countries.

The project needed a website that doesn’t just inform, but inspires, engages and makes it easy to plan trips. Our services for this project included a website design for travel startup in New Zealand and modern website development for travel startup.

Project objectives

  • Develop a thoughtful website structure that fits the startup's business model and guides the user intuitively.
  • Create a modern, light and vibrant design that conveys a vacation atmosphere, with a focus on engagement and retention through interface design with gamification and interactive elements.
  • Build the site with a flexible and easy to use admin panel, allowing the team to add new itineraries and update content independently, as well as a content management system for flexible content updates.

Results

  • Conducted a series of research and sprints to create the optimal site structure to match key product objectives and user behaviors, as part of our UX UI design for tourism platforms.
  • Developed a light, fresh design with bright accents - visually conveying a sense of lightness, inspiration and desire to travel.
  • Introduced elements of interactivity and gamification to increase engagement and motivation to explore the content.
  • We created a website with a user-friendly custom admin panel, where adding a new itinerary takes the form of a step-by-step quiz - simple, fast and error-free. Our expertise includes interface design for online itineraries.

  • Optimized the site for further scaling and easy publishing of new sections, regions, content formats.
